European and Czech legislation on public procurement in the construction
industry
Abstract
The experience
of the last ten years of evolution
the EU was reflected in the new EC Directive on public procurement in the European Union. Contracting authorities received this Directive into the hands
a better tool for achieving greater economy, efficiency and effectiveness in
financing projects from public funds. This paper is
a critical assessment of the impact
of these changes into Czech legislation that the new
EC Directive follows as its implementation into the Czech legal order.
